Jammy Duel has previously served as Secretary of State for Defence, Shadow Secretary of State for Defence and as an MP for the Conservative Party. He also holds the record for the most posts in the Commons Bar and has earnt the title of 'Biggest Drinker' four times.

Early Career (March 2015 - April 2016)

Jammy Duel joined the Conservative Party in March 2015. In just a few months, in May 2015, he became an MP and the Shadow Secretary of State for Defence in Life_peer's Shadow Cabinet. He remained in this role until July 2015, when a Motion of No Confidence was passed in the Government. In the 22nd Parliamentary Term, he took up the same role untilt the end of that term. In the MHoC Awards for the 21st Parliament, Jammy Duel won both 'Debater of the Parliament', 'Drunkard of the Parliament', and the Speaker's Award.

Cabinet Role (April 2016 - November 2016)

Following the 23rd General Election, in April 2016, Jammy Duel was given the role of Secretary of State for Defence. During his time in the role, he released a departmental review that passed without vote. In the MHoC Awards for the 22nd Parliament, Jammy Duel retained his 'Drunkard of the Parliament' title. In August 2016, Jammy Duel was removed from his Cabinet position after he voted against the government's Assisted Dying Petition. Jammy Duel was frustrated by Life_peer's decision and when asked why he had been replaced, he said: 'because to LP doing what he says is more important than doing what you believe in, and he doesn't like it when I turn my guns on his unconservative positions.' After Life_peer stepped down as the party's Leader in November, Jammy Duel ran in the election to replace him but was beaten by Tanqueray91.

Time as an Independent (November 2016 - June 2017)

Just before the 24th General Election, Jammy Duel resigned from the Conservative Party and in the election, ran as an independent candidate. He was the first ever candidate to use a manifesto in 'gif' format and in his manifesto, he promised to fight for lower and fairer taxes, work towards a freer market, support freedom of speech and introduce greater disincentives for the use of dangerous substances. He also used his manifesto to attack the Conservative Party. For his campaign, Jammy Duel used the slogan 'the true Conservative option.' Jammy Duel obtained 4% of the total vote which was enough to earn him a seat. In the 24th Parliamentary Term, Jammy Duel set up a thread to determine where on the political compass members of the House were.

25th Parliamentary Term (June 2017 - present)

In the 25th General Election in June 2017, Jammy Duel stood as an independent candidate once again, hoping to retain his seat. However, he only received one vote and therefore did not manage to achieve this.
